The Odd Archive ("we", "us") operates theoddarchive.com and Odd Archive Studio, a private, first-party tool that publishes videos to our own TikTok account and Facebook Page and reads their performance statistics via the official TikTok and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) APIs. This policy explains what data those services handle.
This website is static. It does not use cookies, analytics trackers, or advertising, and it does not ask you to create an account. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may process standard technical logs (such as IP address and user agent) to serve and secure the site; see Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Odd Archive Studio is used only by the operator of The Odd Archive and connects only to accounts and Pages we own. When the operator authorizes it via the TikTok or Meta login flow, the tool receives and stores, locally on the operator's own machine:
This data is used solely to publish our own content and measure its performance. It is not sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising. No data about viewers or other users is collected.
For Meta platforms specifically, the tool requests only the permissions
needed to publish to and measure our own Page:
pages_manage_posts (publish videos/Reels to our Page),
pages_show_list (identify which Pages we administer) and
pages_read_engagement (read our own Page's post statistics).
It does not read Pages we do not own, does not access friend or follower
lists, does not message anyone, and does not use Meta data for advertising or
profiling. Access can be revoked at any time in Facebook Settings → Business
integrations, which immediately invalidates our tokens.
Tokens and statistics are retained locally for as long as the integration is in use. Access can be revoked at any time from TikTok's app settings (Settings → Security → Apps and websites) or Facebook's Business integrations settings, which immediately invalidates the tokens; local data is deleted on request or when no longer needed. To request deletion of any data we hold, email [email protected] and we will action it within 30 days.
Videos are produced using licensed third-party services (text-to-speech, stock footage). Only our own script text and audio are sent to those services — never any TikTok or Meta user data.
Our website and tools are not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version, with its effective date, will always be available at this URL.
